On May 16, the Vietnam Software & IT services (VINASA) and the Vietnam-Japan IT Cooperation Club (VJC) cooperated with the Japan Information Industry Association (JISA) and 20 Vietnamese information technology enterprises to organise the Vietnam IT Day 2023 programme in Tokyo, Japan.
2023 marks the 10th year of the programme organised by the Vietnamese business community that is doing business with Japan. It also celebrates the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.
Attending the event were representatives of the Ministry of Information and Communications of the two countries, the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, 20 Vietnamese enterprises, and nearly 150 Japanese enterprises.
Held for the first time in 2013, Vietnam IT Day is part of an annual series of activities organised by the cooperation between VINASA and Japanese information technology associations and organisations, with the mission of promoting cooperation in the information technology industry between the two countries.
Nguyen Thanh Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Information Technology Department under the Ministry of Information of Vietnam, affirmed the abundant potential of Vietnam's information technology industry.
Vietnam IT Day 2023 takes place with three main activities: conference, exhibition, and business matching.
